TOWIE’s Georgia Kousoulou forced to deny she’s pregnant in new photo
Georgia is not happy!
The Only Way Is Essex star Georgia Kousoulou has been forced to deny she's pregnant after online trolls told her she looked 'fat' and 'expecting' on her latest Instagram photo.
Fans of the ITVBe show were quick to speculate that Georgia and her boyfriend Tommy Mallet were expecting their first child after the official TOWIE Instagram account uploaded the below photo of the pair at the series photo shoot.
One user wrote, 'Is she pregnant? Looks so…', while another added, 'Is she pregnant as she looks it in this pic.'
A third Instagram user commented, 'My first thought also was that @georgiakousoulou is pregnant too!!'
Georgia's fans were quick to support the reality star, with one user writing, 'How could anyone say @georgiakousoulou is fat?? She is stunning inside and out so stop with the comments!!!!'
While another added, 'Pregnant ?!!! Are they serious!!! You have the ultimate body goals! All of your posts have been incredible lately! So jel!'
Georgia has now hit back at her critics and slammed reports that she's expecting a baby. Sharing a photo with the words, 'Girls don’t simply decide to hate their bodies, we teach them to', Georgia wrote...
'Take note 🙌 Seen this quote & thought I would share as this message is so true & powerful .. so the full picture of me & Tommys towie shoot picture got put up on Towie's insta .. the first thing people asked was if I was pregnant or if I put on weight ..I jumped straight on the Defence & stated it was the wrong angle & the photographer was sitting down ... plus i had just eaten ... than I realised why the f**k do I need to justify myself to these negative comments .. but anyway I can handle the comments (sometimes) but what are we teaching the young girls growing up on social media ?!' I don't care what you say about me but PLEASE think of the girls / women reading them comments that think my body is good because there gonna than think .. " well if she's fat , I must be " please let's teach our girls and women that NO ONE is perfect & we need to start learning to love what we have.. life is hard enough , we don't need to spread body shaming or any kind of trolling ... just ask yourself .. would I want my daughter / sister to read these comments ? I certainly wouldn't . Ps remember just because I'm on tv does not mean I have to be "perfect " because I'm NOT . no one is! I'm a normal 26 year old girl just trying to live'. sic
Good for you Georgia! 💪
The 26-year-old isn't the only reality star to be body shamed in recent weeks. Georgia's fellow TOWIE star Megan McKenna was forced to deny she was pregnant when online trolls called her fat after she'd eaten a big Mexican meal, and former Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby was trolled for being too skinny!
Meanwhile, earlier in the month Georgia found herself involved in an online spat with girl band Little Mix.
The spat took place when Georgia starred in an advert for a website in which everything is five pounds.
Clearly not a fan of the advert, Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock reenacted the advert and posted it to Little Mix's official Instagram account.
Understandably Georgia wasn’t best pleased with Little Mix mocking her and hit back in the comments section.
Drama! 😲
