Sam Thompson and Zara McDermott ‘SPLIT’ after 16 months
The reality stars have reportedly called time on their romance

Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson has reportedly split from Love Island’s Zara McDermott, with insiders claiming their 16-month relationship fell apart after a series of rows in lockdown.
Sam and Zara confirmed their romance last summer when they were spotted walking through London hand-in-hand and only enjoyed a romantic getaway to Mykonos last month, but it’s thought that the pair called it quits just weeks after returning from their trip.
“Zara and Sam split towards the end of last month. They had been arguing a lot since moving in together as a result of lockdown and things just built up between them,” a source told MailOnline.
“Zara has moved back to her parents' house in Essex where she's taking some time for herself, she really loved Sam so this hasn't been easy for her.
“Sam has gone away to have a break from it all and clear his head away from Zara and social media.”

This all comes after Sam opened up about plans to marry Zara as he teased a proposal.
During a chat with Celebs Go Dating’s Paul Carrick Brunson, the dating expert asked, “I have one question, have you proposed to your girlfriend? Sam, this is very important, you two are perfect, make that happen, put a ring on it. You need to propose by the end of the year.”
Sam replied, “I will, I actually will. How weird is that I have turned out of this whole situation with a girlfriend who I am currently holidaying with in Mykonos?
"The teachings you have all given me has allowed me to succeed in my relationship so I am eternally grateful."
Meanwhile, Sam’s sister Louise recently posted a number of cryptic tweets about cheating after cancelling her wedding to fiancé Ryan Libbey last year.
She wrote, 'I'm proud of my heart. It's been played, stabbed, cheated, burned and broken... somehow still works.'
Fans flooded the thread with messages of concern, with one writing, 'Hope you're okay @LouiseAThompson we are Aries and sensitive but also strong once our trust has been broken that’s it for us we move on remember what’s meant for you won’t pass you lots of love.'
But Louise later uploaded a cosy video of her and Ryan making lunch together, with a source close to the reality star claiming things were “really great” between them and that the tweet was "actually aimed at a friend”.
