Olly Murs recreates iconic Mrs Doubtfire scene and it's hilarious

Pop star Olly Murs has been continuing his reign as king of lockdown comedy with a hilarious recreation of an iconic 90s film scene.

The movie in question is none other than 1993’s Mrs. Doubtfire, and Olly has taken to his Instagram to re-enact the scene where the title character meets social worker Mrs. Sellner, who’s come to check up on the kids.

The prankster mimes the lines of both characters in the scene, and fans were loving his acting skills.

Olly captioned the post with a reference to the scene, writing, 'My beauty regimen', followed by some laughing emojis and the hashtags, #MrsDoubtfire and #facemask.

Like us, fans and friends were certainly tickled by the performance, with one writing, 'Lip sync game is stronggggg', and another saying, 'love this😂 probably your best one👍🏼x'.

Meanwhile, Olly celebrated his 36th birthday last week, and despite still being in lockdown, his girlfriend Amelia Tank made sure it was one to remember! Not only did Amelia decorate the couple's home with birthday balloons and banners, she also arranged for a private ice cream van to surprise Olly!

After enjoying his big day, the 'Troublemaker' singer took to his Instagram page to thank fans for their well wishes.

Sharing a cute snap of himself and Amelia enjoying the celebrations, Olly wrote, 'So Chapter 36 begins 🎂🥳 thanks for all your amazing messages and love today! Wow I won’t forget this birthday in a hurry! So very weird but at the same time loved every single second of it with this legend ❤️👌🏻xx'. (sic)
