Mel B files for divorce from her husband Stephen Belafonte

Spice Girls singer Mel B has reportedly filed for divorce from her husband Stephen Belafonte, citing 'irreconcilable differences'.
According to reports, the singer filed legal papers at the Los Angeles Superior Court and listed 'joint and physical custody' to share her five-year-old daughter Madison.
Mel B, real name Melanie Brown, married Stephen during a ceremony in Las Vegas back in 2007 after a short five month relationship. They later renewed their wedding vows in Egypt in 2008.
The pair then welcomed their first child together, Madison Belafonte, on September 1st 2011.
The former X Factor judge also has two other children, 18-year-old Phoenix Chi Gulzar whom she shares with her previous husband Jimmy Gulzar and nine-year-old Angel with Hollywood actor Eddie Murphy.
Neither Mel nor Stephen have publicly commented on the reported split.
