The Love Island lot can't say anything without it being spun out of context, can they? The latest example: Megan Barton-Hanson supposedly 'throwing shade' at Georgia Steel over something really-rather-ridiculous.
So here's the deal. Loyal Georgia, like many people, has a penchant for crushed velvet interiors. 'Nothing wrong with that!' we hear you cry. Well, if reports are to believed, Megan asking for a sofa for her new apartment with 'strictly no crushed velvet' suggestions means she's taken a swipe at Georgia and her taste in home decor.
The only thing for it? We put it to Megan to find out if this 'shade' was anything more than, er, preference.

After posting 'Looking for a sofa for the new apartment - strictly no crushed velvet!? Any suggestions please?!' sic, Megan cleared up that she was in no way 'throwing shade' at Georgia.
"I don't follow her so I don't know what she's into, but for a lot of people in TOWIE and Love Island it's the go-to; the crushed velvet," she explained. "Silver crushed velvet. I don't want any part of that. So four years ago."
So there you go. Nothing against Georgia, but everything against crushed velvet.

On the topic of Georgia, Megan reckons she needs to find a 'strict' man on her Celebs Go Dating venture.
Asked what kind of fella it'll take to tame Georgia, Megan said: "He needs to be strict and he needs to have a remote control to mute her at times; to be like 'stop talking now.'"
Brilliant.
