Love Island's Chris Hughes posts cryptic 'relationship' message

They had their issues during their time in Love Island and it seems Chris Hughes and Olivia Attwood's relationship is following the same pattern on the outside world.
Just days ago rumours were rife that Chris had dumped Olivia after she was spotted 'getting close' with her ex-boyfriend, and now Chris has shared a rather cryptic post to his Twitter account.
Captioning the shot of a quote with the words 'Life', Chris wrote, 'You can't just give up on someone because the situation's not ideal. Great relationships aren't great because they have no problems. They're great because both people care enough about the other person to find a way to make it work'.
Fans were quick to express their opinion on Chris' post, with some showing love for his relationship, whilst others weren't so supportive.
Despite the recent rumours about Olivia getting close to her ex, Chris was quick to publicly defend his girl.
Taking to Instagram to share a loved up picture of the two, Chris wrote, 'Come to support my girl on her new project, exciting opportunity for her! Proud of how far she's come in this short space of time, deserves every opportunity that comes her way. Regarding other aspect of today, manipulation is powerful in the public eye. She's been a princess to me ever since we landed back in the UK, and I don't blame people for judging as it's the world we live in, but understand I'm not naive to this situation. Unfortunately Olivia put herself in this position unintentionally, nobody understands the situation like ourselves, and that's the main point behind today. 👫'
Olivia also expressed her love for Chris in a tweet where she called him a 'hero'. She wrote, 'Make no mistake. I know what I have. Chris is everything people think he is and so much more. He puts up with this wild child like a hero x'.
Despite his relationship with Olivia seeming turbulent, Chris' career is going well since he left the Love Island villa.
Yesterday it was revealed Chris and fellow Islander Kem have landed their own spin-off show on ITV2. The news was confirmed by Love Island bosses leaving fans excited at seeing the boys' bromance blossom.
It has also been confirmed that Chris will star in new Channel 5 show Celebrity Ghost Hunt Live. Hosted by Rylan Clark-Neal, the show will see** Charlotte Crosby, Stephen Bear, Charlotte Dawson and Real Housewives of Cheshire** star Ampika Pickston stay overnight at one of the most haunted locations in the UK.
With the show set to air on 5STAR in September we can't wait!
