The X Factor winner Louisa joined us at heat radio to talk about her brilliant new single 'Yes', her debut album and who her ideal collaboration would be with.

The singer dropped her first single in nearly a year last week, and we're already loving it on heat radio. This new upbeat song is very different to her previous songs 'So Good' and 'Unpredictable' with Olly Murs.

Speaking to our reporter Lydia Batham, Louisa revealed the inspiration behind the song. She explained she went for a night out with a songwriter, Camille Purcell, where they chatted about Britney and Christina Aguilera. After the night out Camille went into the studio and created this new song, which Louisa says she "Loves".

Speaking about her forthcoming debut album, Louisa said it will be out later this year. She also admitted she has already started picking some songs for it; in fact she admitted she has had some picked for a while!

"If I had released an album a year ago I wouldn't have been happy with it. So, I'm really happy I held out and waited," Louisa explained.

At last month's BRIT Awards Louisa turned up on the red carpet wearing a stunning emerald green dress. Our reporter Lydia quizzed the singer on her outfit choice, asking if she channeled her inner Destiny's Child. Seeming surprised at the question, she admitted that she had! Louisa explained how she and her stylist came up with the outfit.
