Lindsay Lohan welcomes first child and reveals unique name

Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan has announced the wonderful news that she's welcomed her first child into the world with her husband Bader Shammas.

37-year-old Lindsay has given birth to a baby boy, with her rep saying: "Lindsay Lohan and her financier husband Bader Shammas welcomed a beautiful, healthy son named Luai. The family is over the moon in love."

The name Luai is of Arabic origin, meaning "A strong and steady person."

According to TMZ, Lindsay and Bader's son was born in Dubai on Monday (17th July), where the couple live together.

Mean Girls actress Lindsay first announced she was pregnant in a cute post on Instagram back in March. Sharing a photo of a baby grow with the words 'Coming soon', the actress told fans: 'We are blessed and excited! 🙏🤍👶🍼'.

Following the announcement, The Parent Trap star candidly opened up to US Weekly, saying: "We are very excited for our new family member to arrive and we are looking forward to this next chapter of our lives."

Lindsay first confirmed she was dating Bader in November 2021, with the pair going on to get married in 2022.

At the time of publication, Lindsay is yet to share any photos or reveal any further details about her son.
