Kym Marsh and Scott Ratcliff are now husband and wife!

The former Coronation Street star and singer married army major Scott in a romantic ceremony surrounded by their friends and family at Sandhurst military academy at the weekend (17th October 2021).

Following the break down of his marriage to Lucy-Jo Hudson, Alan later started dating Tisha Merry, who used to play the role of Steph Britton on the soap. The couple announced they were dating in 2019 and later moved in together.

Jennifer James and Lee Boardman met on the set of Coronation Street in 2000 whilst playing Geena Gregory and Jez Quigley. The co-stars married in 2001 and now have two children together.

The pair announced their engagement back in June and Kym was recently spotting enjoying her hen do on a night out in Manchester.

The news was confirmed by OK! magazine which reported that Kym’s dad, who has been diagnosed with incurable prostate cancer, was able to go.

Countdown star Carol Voderman was also in attendance and tweeted her congratulations to the pair.

She wrote: ‘Soooo my big bud @alexinaholt and I went to our Kym's @msm4rsh wedding yesterday at Sandhurst.

‘It was BEAUTIFUL. Major Scott and the new Mrs Ratcliff were entrancing and so in love. A properly gorgeous life-enhancing day.’

Kym previously told the publication that her Dad was “determined to walk her down the aisle – and the nupitals had given him something positive to focus on.”

She even teased her plans for the big day, saying: “It’s going to be stunning and a very military wedding.”

Scott added: “We got engaged to be married.

“And on the back of some bad news we thought, if we can pull it off let’s do it this year, because it’s the lift that everyone needs.”

Kym was first introduced to Scott by mutual pal Anthony Cotton – who acted as Master of Ceremonies at the wedding - and started dating in 2018.

The announced their engagement on Kym’s birthday in June after three years together. This is Kym’s third marriage, having previously been married to former EastEnders heartthrob Jack Ryder from 2002 to 2009 and then to Hollyoaks' Jamie Lomas from 2012 to 2014.
