Kim Kardashian has been forced to deny that she was attacked over the weekend.
Pictures emerged of the reality star seemingly caught up in a scuffle with a man outside a restaurant in L.A on Sunday night.
Now Kim’s taken to Twitter to explain the whole situation has been exaggerated. Kim tweeted ‘So @JonathanCheban just called me & asked if I was ok & read online I was attacked outside of Mr. Chow. Totally not true! Such weird rumours.’ Kim continued ‘A random guy walks near me & almost bumped into me but he hit the parking meter. Not attacked me. Hope he’s ok!’
The rumours come 7 months after Kim was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, by 5 men who made away with $10 million worth of jewellery. Kim has opened about the attack in a recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Recalling the attack to her sister Khloe: “I have a split second in my mind to make this quick decision… either I’m going to run down the stairs and being shot in the back….or If I make it and they don’t, if the elevator does not open in time or the stairs are locked… then there’s no way out.”
Kim continues: “He duct-taped my face… my mouth to get me to not yell… and then he grabs my legs and I had no clothes on under so he pulled me towards him at the front of the bed and I thought this is the moment they’re gonna rape me and I fully mentally prep myself.”
Kim also reveals she thought they would kill her, explaining “They had a gun up to me, and I knew that was the moment they were going to shot me in the head.’
She also addressed rumours that she staged the robbery in the episode, saying “why would anyone make that up”.
Kim posted about the episode on socials before it aired, explain her decision to open up about the ordeal. Kim posted up a snap of her in Paris with the caption: ‘Tonight's episode is going to be very tough for me. However, I thought it was important to share this story through my eyes & not in an interview where my own words could be twisted.'
