JLo wrote: 'One year ago today 🤍 … Dear Ben, Sitting here alone, Looking at my ring ring, Feeling overwhelmed, It makes me wanna sing sing, How did we end up here, Without a rewind, Oh my, This is my life… Jennifer 🤍'.
With more than a million likes on Instagram, the couple also received more than 10K comments, one fan wrote: 'Happy anniversary to the couple who proves that dreams someday come true', another wrote: 'Happy First anniversary my love❤️ Being with love of your life is the best thing in the world❤️'.
JLo and Ben reunited back in 2021, after many years apart. They then married at Little Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, in August 2022. The couple obtained a marriage license in July 2022 and at the time, E! News reported that Jennifer Lopez noted that her name be legally changed to Jennifer Affleck.
Hair stylist Chris Appleton also took to Instagram to offer a sneak peek, showing JLo in her dress and writing: 'Last minute feelings before the wedding …. 💒'
A month after tying the knot in Vegas, the pair had another ceremony at an 87-acre estate in Georgia.
Despite getting married happily last year, Jennifer revealed to Jimmy Kimmel on his US talkshow that she was nervous.
"I don’t know if you guys noticed, but 20 years ago, we were supposed to get married. And it kind of all fell apart back then," she explained.
"And this time, I absolutely had a little PTSD and I was like 'Is this happening? I this really happening?'
She finished: "We were so happy, and of course it was happening, but I just felt the wedding was so stressful."
Happy anniversary Ben and Jen!
