Strictly's Janette Manrara and Aljaž Škorjanec reveal adorable baby name
The pair welcomed a baby girl
Congratulations are in order for Strictly Come Dancing couple Janette Manrara and Aljaž Škorjanec, as the pair have welcomed their first child into the world! The married couple announced their lovely news on social media, confirming details about the birth.
Taking to Instagram over the weekend to introduce their little girl, the pair shared the most adorable family photo, writing: 'Lyra Rose Skorjanec - July 28, 2023 🌹'. (sic)
Fans and friends were quick to comment on the post. Gemma Atkinson wrote: 'Just wonderful 🌹❤️', with Strictly pro Amy Dowden adding: 'Utter perfection 💖💖😍😍😍😍'.
Dianne Buswell then wrote: '❤️❤️❤️❤️ yay so so exciting', with Emmerdale actress Lisa Jane Riley adding: 'CONGRATULATIONS….little Lyra one thing is for sure, with your beautiful Mum and Dad you will be loved, loved and loved some more 🥰🥰🥰'. (sic)
Janette's former It Takes Two co-host Rylan Clark then wrote: 'OMG CONGRATS ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️'. (sic)

It was back in February when Janette and Aljaž announced they were expecting their first baby together, admitting they'd been trying to start a family for some time. Speaking to HELLO!, the couple revealed they were planning on starting IVF treatment, but Janette then took a positive pregnancy test in December.
Speaking about her struggles to conceive at the time, 39-year-old Janette said: "For the past couple of years we hadn’t been using protection but nothing was happening, so we thought IVF was the next best thing for us to do.
"I turn 40 later this year and the NHS offers really good services to women under 40. The doctor said that as soon as I got my period we would start injections, but my period never came.
"I know that IVF can be really strenuous on a woman’s body and there is no guarantee it will work, so to know that this little miracle just came from a wonderful night we had together is amazing. I think the baby decided to make Mum and Dad panic a bit before saying, ‘ok, fine, I’m coming up now.'"
Whilst Janette quit her role as a professional on Strictly a number of years ago, she is still part of the show's family, presenting spin-off show Strictly: It Takes Two. Following Rylan Clark's exit from the show, Janette will present this year's series alongside former contestant Fleur East.
Meanwhile, Aljaž made the decision to quit in 2022, after nine amazing years.
