They've announced his adorable name!
Emmerdale actress Michelle Hardwick has given birth to a beautiful baby boy with her wife, the soap's producer Kate Brooks!
The happy couple, who got married in September 2019, announced the birth of their new arrival on social media over the weekend, revealing they welcomed a baby boy called Edward (Teddy) into the world on Friday 9th October.
Sharing a number of adorable photos of baby Teddy online, Michelle told fans, 'On Friday 9th October, this handsome little chap entered the world. Edward “Teddy” Peter Brooks we are so in love with you 💙 #ourlittleTeddyboy'. (sic)
The cast of Emmerdale were quick to comment on the cute post. Lisa Riley wrote, 'CONGRATULATIONS 💛CONGRATULATIONS 💛CONGRATULATIONS 💛 so much love to you all 😘😘😘 he’s going to be LOVED 💛'. (sic)
Charley Webb then added, 'Beautiful ⭐️', with Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall writing, ' Sooooo Happy for you both Congratulations xxxx 👶🏼.' (sic)
Gogglebox star Sophie Sandiford then wrote, 'Congratulations to you and kate he’s absolutely perfect💙!! Xxxx'. (sic)
Michelle, who plays the role of Vanessa Woodfield in the popular soap, first announced the couple were expecting their first child back in April.
Sharing a super-cute photo alongside their dog Fred, Michelle wrote, 'Fred's big brother duties commence in October #BabyBrooks'. (sic)
