This happy news comes just a few days after the sad news of Professor Stephen Hawking passing away. Back in 2014 Eddie played the role of Stephen Hawking in the film The Theory of Everything. The film was a biographical drama following the theoretical physicist, who was given just two years to live at the age of 21 after he was diagnosed with motor neurone disease.

At the time of the film's release, Eddie explained to us how Stephen was very inspirational, going on to reveal what he had learnt from meeting the Professor.

Eddie is also known for playing the role of Newt Scamander in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and the forthcoming sequel Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Last week the first trailer for the new film dropped and fans were very excited about it.
