Chrissy Teigen pays heartbreaking tribute to her beloved dog
He sadly passed away
Actress and TV presenter Chrissy Teigen has paid a heartbreaking tribute to her beloved dog Puddy, after he sadly passed away.
Chrissy, who is married to 'All Of Me' singer John Legend, made the tribute on her Instagram page where she revealed the couple have had Puddy for 10 years.
Sharing a number of cute photos of the pooch's life, including ones with her daughter Luna, Chrissy told fans her 'heart aches' as they've lost the dog that was there for the couple 'through every up and down'.
She wrote, 'Today our baby, Puddy, has gone on to the pup heavens. John and I got Puddy in our first year of dating, when I convinced him half-birthday presents were a real thing. 10 years ago, on May 30th, I found the dog that would be there for us through every up, down, new house, new city, new tour, new travel. He welcomed new pups and loved on new babies and new bellies. He was there for everything. Every time I needed a taste tester, someone to kiss or needed to sob into his stinky rolls, he was there. It’s true what they say. We are their entire lives and it is the greatest shame that they can only bless us with a short spark of time in ours. I always knew I would lose a piece of me when he left us. I feel the hole now. I will love you forever, my boy. My heart aches. Thank you so much for everything, everything.' sic
Chrissy continued to flood her social media accounts with tributes to Puddy, including sharing the moment he got 'married' to another dog called Pippa. She wrote, 'Not many people know this but Puddy is survived by his wife, Pippa. yes, they were married.' sic
The Lip Sync Battle star, who is pregnant with her second child, later shared a cute video of the pooch as she smothered him in kisses. 'I know somewhere extremely deep down underneath all the skin and chub, you loved my kisses', she wrote.
Chrissy then ended her tribute to Puddy by sharing a portrait of the dog with the caption, 'The end. I can’t thank you enough for your years. I’ll love you forever.' sic
Fans and friends were quick to send their messages of condolences to the star.
Kris Jenner wrote, 'So sorry Chrissy! I know how much you loved her!' sic, whilst a fan wrote, 'They never die, they just move into our hearts where we can carry and protect them.' sic
Another then added, 'We have a bulldog and I seen your post and was so sadden. Sorry for your loss...can't imagine how you feel 😔'. sic
Chrissy and John revealed they are expecting their second child together back in November last year.
Revealing the news in a short video, the couple's one-year-old daughter, Luna, can be seen looking at her mum's belly as Chrissy can be heard saying, "what's in here?"
Luna they replies, "baby!"
The couple first got together while shooting a music video together in 2006, they married in 2013 and last year welcomed their totally adorable daughter Luna. John's 2013 hit ‘All of You’ was dedicated to his wife.
