Chris Hughes is selling water infused with his own tears

Really?!

Published 9th Oct 2017

There's no denying Chris Hughes has made a name for himself since appearing on ITV2's Love Island in the summer, he's been involved in a number of campaigns, landed modelling deals and even released his debut rap single 'Little Bit Leave It' with Kem Cetinay, but his latest career move has fans VERY confused.

Chris has teamed up with high street shop Topman and is currently promoting bottles of water infused with his own tears!

Yes, you read that correctly...

The water is called 'L'eau De Chris' and is available to buy at Topman stores, with the shop confirming the news on their Instagram account. Posting a photo of Chris holding the bottle of water a tear drops from his eye, the caption reads, '🚨BREAKING🚨- the ALL NEW L'eau De Chris, infused with @chrishughesofficial's tears will EXCLUSIVELY be available at Topman - SEE OUR BIO NOW'.

Chris also tried to sell the very random product to his own social accounts, sharing a very cringeworthy advert with the caption, 'I'm launching my first ever product in partnership with @Topman #LEauDeChris'.

Not surprisingly, fans of the Love Island star didn't know how to react to the news, with some questioning how real the new product is.

One user wrote, 'best joke of 2017 or?', with another adding, 'This can't be real?!'. A third then wrote, 'Ohhhh isn’t he just something 😍😍 but yeah surely that is a joke 😂😂'.

Chris is yet to confirm or deny if his new water product is real, but by his social media posts, L'eau De Chris is the new in thing. 🙈

Chris' new product comes just a week after Chris and Kem: Straight Outta Love Island aired on ITV2.

The two-part show, which showed the boys pursuing their love of rap music, was positively perceived by viewers, with many calling for the boys to get another series.

At the end of the second episode, Sony Music offered the pair a record deal, with Chris and Kem releasing their debut single 'Little Bit Leave It'.

The track reached Number 1 on the iTunes chart not long after it's release and debuted at Number 15 on the Official UK Charts.

The boys have also been teasing the official video for the track on their social media accounts.

Kem shared a short snippet of the video to his Instagram account, telling fans the full video is 'coming soon'.

Marcel Somerville

In completely brand new information - Marcel was in the 90's band Blazin Squad. WE KNOW RIGHT. He's so modest about that sort of thing.
