Welsh singer Charlotte Church has confirmed the tragic news that she's had a miscarriage, just weeks after confirming her pregnancy with her partner Jonny Powell.
The 31-year-old revealed the heartbreaking news via a statement on Twitter.
It read, 'Charlotte and Jonny are very sad to announce that they lost their baby. Now is a time for grieving and being together as a family. We kindly ask everyone to respect that peace.'
Charlotte has been with her partner Jonny for seven years and the couple only announced they were expecting a few weeks ago.
Fans were quick to send the couple messages of support.
The singer announced to fans during a show that she was expecting her third child, which was reportedly due in November.
Charlotte already has two children, nine-year-old daughter Ruby and eight-year-old son Dexter, whom she shares with her ex-boyfriend Welsh rugby player Gavin Henson.
