These days pregnancy announcements have become more and more inventive, with many celebrities choosing social media as the first place to make the announcement public.
We take a look at some of the best celebrity pregnancy announcements from the last few years....
1. Beyoncé
In 2017, Beyoncé announced she was pregnant with twins on Instagram and it became a record-breaking announcement. Showing the superstar in just her underwear and a yellow veil, she was pictured showing off her baby bump. The photo had 7.12 million likes and over 360,600 comments in just 12 hours.
As the news broke on social media around 500,000 tweets were recorded in just 45 minutes following her photo, at times peaking at 17,000 a minute!
To date, the photo now has over 11 million likes on Instagram.
2. Cheryl
After months of rumours, Girls Aloud singer Cheryl seemingly 'announced' her pregnancy at the eight-month stage by clutching her massive baby bump during a promotional video campaign for L'Oréal.
Just one month after the photo emerged, Cheryl gave birth to a baby boy called Bear Grey Payne, with her boyfriend at the time, former One Direction singer Liam Payne.
3. Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake
Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel announced they were expecting their first child on Justin's birthday back in January 2015.
The photo showed Justin kissing Jessica's growing baby bump accompanied by a caption saying, 'Thank you EVERYONE for the Bday wishes! This year, I'm getting the GREATEST GIFT EVER. CAN'T WAIT. #BoyOrGirl #YouNeverKnow #WeDontEvenKnow #WeAreTakingBets' (sic)

Announcing she was pregnant with her second child in November 2016, 'Just Like A Pill' singer P!nk got her daughter Willow involved in her super cute post.
Looking stunning in a long white dress as Willow cuddled into her mum's bump, P!nk simply told fans, 'Surprise!'.
5. Camila Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt
Love Island 2017 favourites Camila and Jamie delighted fans in May 2020, announcing they were expecting their first child together in a super cute video.
The video, which was dubbed to Vanilla Ice's track 'Ice Ice Baby', shows Camilla and Jamie throwing a paper plane to their family and friends, before revealing their adorable baby scan at the end.
Camilla captioned the video with, 'So @jamiejewitt_ and I have managed to make something pretty special 🤔 and we're not talking about the video... 🥳💃🥰🤗 #17weeks #October2020'. (sic)
6. Jessica Alba and Cash Warren
The Sinner actress Jessica Alba announced she was expecting for the third time in 2017, with a photo of her and her two children holding giant balloons with the numbers 1, 2 and 3.
She told fans, '@cash_warren and I are officially going to be outnumbered #babyonboard #herewegoagain 👶🏼🤰🏽#blessed🙏'. (sic)
7. Kylie Jenner
After attempting to keep her entire pregnancy a secret, despite more or less everybody on the planet knowing about it, Kylie Jenner chose to announce her 'pregnancy' after she'd actually given birth to her baby girl.
The reality star shared an amazing 11-minute video to her YouTube page, showing her journey over the nine months she was pregnant.
8. Nicki Minaj
American rapper Nicki Minaj seemingly took some inspiration from Queen Bey when she announced she was pregnant with her first child in July 2020.
Sharing a series of photos from a professional shoot, Nicki showed off her stunning bump as she cradled her bump whilst kneeling on a bed.
Nicki simply captioned the snap with, '#Preggers 💛'. (sic)
9. Kate and Rio Ferdinand
Former TOWIE star Kate Wright, who is already a step-mum to husband Rio's three children Tate, Tia and Lorenz, following the tragic death of Rio's first wife Rebecca in 2015, announced she was expecting her first child in June 2020.
Sharing the cutest video to her Instagram page, Kate filmed Lorenz, Tate and Tia's adorable reaction, leaving fans in tears.
