Backstreet Boys' AJ McLean reveals very unusual name for new baby

Backstreet Boys star AJ McLean and his wife Rochelle have welcomed their second child together, a baby girl called Lyric Dean McLean.

The happy couple confirmed their news via People, who reported the little one was born on the 19th March, weighing 8lbs 3oz.

In a statement, AJ said, "Having two baby girls is a dream come true and we couldn’t be any more proud or excited to welcome Lyric Dean McLean into the world and into our family.”

AJ and his wife Rochelle are also parents to four year Ava, after welcoming her a year after they tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

The singer was over the moon to announce the news the couple were going to extend their family last year.

Back in September he took to Instagram to announce the news to fans by sharing a snap of four pairs of trainers.

Alongside the snap he wrote, 'So the Mclean family will be expecting a new addition to the family next spring!! #laborday! Ha get it "labor" day! I'm a goof! #avaisgonnabeabigsister #baby2! Keep u all posted!! We're so excited.'

AJ is yet to share any photos of his new daughter but he likes to keep fans up to date on social media so we can't expect it will be long.

Aj and the rest of the Backstreet Boys are currently performing sold out shows during their Las Vegas residency.
