McDonald's reveals its Christmas menu - but one of the favourites isn't there

McDonald's has revealed some exciting additions to its menu for Christmas 2017, however there is one fan favourite which won't be returning for the second year in a row.
This year the fast food restaurant has added more festive food and drink to its menu, with savoury choices of a Beef and Cheese Feast, a Christmas Chicken Warmer, and Cheese Melt Dippers. The Beef and Cheese Feast is a bacon and cheese burger in a 'special flour-topped snowflake' bun, whilst the Christmas Chicken Warmer comes with two pieces of chicken, red pepper sauce and a glazed sesame topped bun.
Ice cream fans will also be happy to hear that the Terry’s Chocolate Orange McFlurry will be returning this year.
And those who are looking for a warm drink to accompany their festive feast will also be happy to hear that McDonald's will be selling a Spiced Christmas Latte, a Toffee Latte and a Hot Chocolate - all available in their Christmas cups with fun designs on them.
However, despite the excitement at their new festive menu, it seems that McDonald's have omitted one favourite, and this hasn't gone unnoticed on Twitter. Since the announcement of the Christmas menu yesterday, people have already taken to social media to ask where the Festive Pie is.
And while it has actually been TWO years since they last stocked the item, it seems that some people just haven't got over it.
If you were wondering what this highly sought after Festive Pie was, then it was a sweet pie stuffed with mincemeat and custard.
Already this month we have seen Starbucks and Costa release their cups and menu, and the Coca-Cola truck has started its tour of the UK. This month we have also seen loads of novelty advent calendars hit the shops with everything from cheese to marshmallows, and beauty products to Harry Potter.
