Motorcyclist who died in Doncaster named

A motorcyclist who died in a crash in Doncaster has been named as Alex Anderson from South Wales.

The 20-year-old - who had been living in Scunthorpe and Immingham - was involved in the collision on High Levels Bank (A18) on 16th January.

In a statement, his family said: "We are devastated by Alex’s death and wish to thank the emergency services and everyone for their support at this time.”

Police are continuing to investigate the crash, which also involved a red Skoda Octavia, and happened at around 19:40GMT.

Officers are asking to speak to any witnesses and want to hear from anyone who has dashcam footage.
