Man seriously injured in crash in Birdwell
The man in his 80s is in a serious condition in hospital
A man in his 80s is in hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Birdwell, near Barnsley, yesterday.
It happened at around 12:30pm on Sheffield Road.
A motorbike was in a collision with an Audi travelling in the opposite direction.
The motorbike rider, in his 80s, is said to be in a stable condition. The driver of the car received minor injuries.
Police are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the crash to get in touch.
