A man has died after being hit by a lorry on the M18 near Doncaster.
Emergency services were called to the motorway this morning (02 January), at around 06:41am.
A section of the road between junctions two and three was closed for a number of hours.
South Yorkshire Police later confirmed the man, in his 30s, died at the scene.
The lorry driver stopped and is helping police with their investigation.
Any witnesses are asked to get in touch with police.
