Man arrested after fatal crash in Ridgeway

Derbyshire Police say they are 'keen' to hear from witnesses after a man in his 20s died at the scene yesterday (July 1)

A man has been arrested by Derbyshire Police after a fatal collision in Ridgeway yesterday afternoon (July 1).

The force say they arrested the person in his 30s on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a man, who was in his 20s, died at the scene of the crash yesterday,

As of 21:19 last night, the road remained closed following the incident.

An appeal for information has been launched by Derbyshire Police, who say they are 'keen' to hear from anyone who witnessed or who has dashcam footage of the collision on the B6388, High Lane, Ridgeway, at around 13:40 on Saturday.

Police say the crash involved a Vauxhall Mokka and a Volkswagen T-Roc.
