Fire crews pump water away from Doncaster flood plains
Firefighters from South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire are helping out
After days of rain and snow from Storm Darcy, fire crews are working to remove surface water from flood plains in Doncaster.
Firefighters from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue and and Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue have drafted in high volume pumps to Sykehouse.
River levels are falling, but they want to reassure people living nearby.
The fire service has been working with Doncaster Council and the Environment Agency on the deployment and it expects to be in the area for around 48 hours.
