Death of woman treated as not suspicious

Police say the death of a 45 year old woman in Sheffield on Wednesday is not being treated as suspicious.

Police were called to Castlebeck Drive on the Manor at 6.10am after reports the 45 year old woman had been found with injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post-mortem has revealed the cause of death and, although originally launching a murder inquiry, police not say it's now not being treated as suspicious.

A 45-year-old man arrested by police in connection with the woman’s death has been released from custody.
