Police release CCTV image in Sheffield investigation into suspected assault

Police have released a CCTV image of two men they would like to speak to in connection with a suspected assault in Sheffield.

The incident is thought to have taken place just after midnight on 4 July in the Crookes area.

Officers say it's reported a man in his 20s was left with serious injuries outside the Cookies and Cream takeaway.

He was reportedly assaulted by two men.

In a statement, South Yorkshire Police added: "Enquiries are ongoing but officers are keen to identify the men in the images as they may be able to assist with enquiries.
