The family of a Sheffield dad and his 1 year old baby boy, who were both killed in a horrific crash in Sheffield, say they're trying hard to come come to terms with what's happened.

Adnan Ashraf, 35, lost his life along with his son Usman Adnan Jarran after the people carrier he was driving was hit by a VW Golf.

Husband and wife Vlasta Dunova, 41, and Miroslav Duna, 50, also died and three others remain in hospital seriously injured.

Shafqat Mizra's the great uncle of the little boy - he says the family's devastated:

"Here we have a young man and his son who were like a sparkle in the family - very bubbly, very joyful, full of life - and now we no longer have them.

"It's not a death that's caused by any illness, but suddenly they're wiped off the scene due to this tragic accident. It's very very difficult for us to accept that but unfortunately that is the harsh reality of it.

"It was absolutely devastating, when we heard it we just did no know what to say, how to react for a few moments. We broke the news to the family which included my mother and father - the whole family had gathered - we broke it to them and obviously everyone was crying, there were tears in every eye. Disbelief that this has happened."

Today two brothers have been charged and appeared in court over the incident.

Elliott Bower, 18, was the driver of the car - he's been charged with four counts of death by dangerous driving as well as other charges.

His brother Declan Bower, 23, is also charged with a number of charges. They've both been remanded in custody.

Adnan's elder brother Rizwan says he can't believe what's happened:

"He was about 11 years old when we lost our mum. He grows up, becomes a man, a father. This all came flashing back, the memories, what he'd done in his life. It's very difficult to say anything when you've lost someone who's younger than you. You can't express even any emotion."

The VW Golf was being followed by a police car before the crash - the incident's been referred to the police watchdog.
