Biker dies after crash in Rotherham

A motorbike rider in his 60s has died after a crash in Rotherham.
It happened on East Bawtry Road between Worrygoose Roundabout and the traffic lights in Whiston on Thursday evening at around 7.30.
Emergency services attended reports that the bike had hit the central reservation, the rider was pronounced dead after being taken to hospital.
It's not believed that any other vehicles were involved.
