Brave Alice shaving her head
14 year old from Sheffield raising funds for Cash for Kids Day!
We are always immensely proud and humbled when anyone chooses to fundraise for Cash for Kids, more so when it's a child who passionately wants to help others. Alice and her family share some thoughts into her motivation to sacrifice her hair:
Meet Alice, she is 14 years old from Sheffield.
Our children are growing up in a society where a teenage girls biggest concern are her perfect eyebrows, talon fingernails and perfect tone of false tan.
Alice is willing to sacrifice her vanity to help local children in her area by shaving off her long blonde hair.
As well as raising money she is donating hair to the Little Princess Trust to make a wig for a child suffering from hair loss.
If you can spare a few pounds to donate it would help these fantastic charities as well as giving a teenage girl confidence to hold her head up high knowing she has done a brave and selfless thing to raise money for less fortunate children in our area.
