Yorkshire Coast Residents Urged To Get Flu Vaccinations

Bridlington residents are being urged to get the flu vaccination this month.
It comes from the town's Primary Care Network which consists of all six GP practices.
Its Clinical Director, Dr Zoe Norris, said:
"Children will be having the flu vaccine at school; that's particularly for primary school children and they will be having a nasal flu spray.
But almost every other person will have an injection usually into their upper arm.
It's really important this year that we make sure we get our flu vaccinations; and that's for two reasons, firstly those groups who are more vulnerable to Covid are also those who are likely to have been shielding and be more vulnerable to flu, and also so we can continue to protect the NHS."
