Preparations are taking place along across North Yorkshire to celebrate the King's Coronation.

It happens on Saturday but many events are being organised ahead of the big day.

Rob Bowman is the deputy headteacher of Overdale School in Eastfield near Scarborough tells us what they'll be doing: "We're having a big celebration, we're going to be having a Royal dinner, little special United Kingdom boxes, and then the teachers are doing lots of activities with them as well, they'll be learning about the history of the Royal Family, doing some colouring and some other activities as well to celebrate.'

'We do British values as a big part of our curriculum anyway, a big part of our history is looking at the Monarchy, so that goes across everything that we do, but it can't be ignored, this is something that our children won't go through many time, it's a really big occasion.'
