York City are preparing for a huge game at the LNER Stadium this evening (20th May).

They are hosting Oldham Athletic in a National League play-off semi final.

A trip to Wembley is the prize for the winners and a shot at promotion to the Football League.

York fan Dave Nicholson says the club is in a good place:

"I'm just feeling really nervous about tonight to be honest. In terms of a prediction I think most play-off games are about 50/50. So I'll say we'll win because of the home advantage but I always think any play-off game could go either way so just crossing my fingers.

Dave says the club has some of the best players it's had in a while:

"Really optimistic that the club's heading in the right direction no matter what.

"But hopefully we can get two more games and get promoted"

York City will welcome Oldham Athletic to the LNER Community Stadium with kick off at 19.45.

City head into this match following a 2-0 win away at Eastleigh.

The Minstermen, finished second with 96 points in total in the National League.

Oldham come into this game under very different circumstances after already registering a play-off game last week.
