A woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after coming off her bike in Bridlington.

A woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after coming off her bike in Bridlington.
It happened on Roman Road between Woldgate and the junction of Church Lane at around 9.15am today (Monday 19th April).
Police say a search team, including the fire service and Mountain Rescue teams in North Yorkshire, had been looking for her since the original report, as she could not be located in or around the area.
She has since been found and taken to hospital to be treated for her injuries. Police say these are not thought to be life threatening.
Officers are working to establish the circumstances which led to the woman being injured.
