A woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Scarborough.

A woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Scarborough.
It happened shortly after 10am today (Wednesday 27th January) on the corner of Longwestgate and Castlegate.
It involved a lorry, parked cars and a pedestrian.
The road was closed whilst emergency services dealt with the incident and re-opened at around 1.15pm.
Firefighters say they stabilised the lorry.
