Witness appeal after assault in Scarborough

The public are being asked to help the police with its on-going enquiries

Police in Scarborough are appealing for witnesses to a reported assault in the town.

It happened at around 2:55pm on Wednesday 3rd November on Dean Road towards the junction with Castle Road.

Officers say as part of on-going enquiries, they have already appealed to CCTV owners in the area and completed house to house enquiries, but they are asking anyone who might have been in the area to think back to see if they remember seeing an altercation.

Also, if you were driving in the area with a dash-cam, to review it and see if it captured anything which can assist the investigation.
