Two of the main football teams on the Yorkshire Coast have matches today.

Whitby Town are away to Morpeth in the qualifying third round of the Buildbase FA Trophy.

Bridlington Town host North Shields in the first round of the FA Vase.

Meanwhile, Scarborough Athletic were due to welcome Witton Albion to the Flamingo Land Stadium, but the FA Trophy match has been called off after Boro confirmed Covid-19 cases.

In a statement, the club said:

"Scarborough Athletic can confirm that two of our playing staff have tested positive for Covid-19, and as a result, a number of players will have to self-isolate.

"The club and these players have followed the correct protocols and the cases have been reported to the NHS and relevant authorities.

"With the health, wellbeing and livelihood of our players and staff paramount, we have taken the difficult decision, in line with FA protocols, to withdraw from our FA Trophy match with Witton Albion on Saturday, thus forfeiting the tie.

"Announcements on forthcoming league games will be made in due course following consultation with the Northern Premier League."
