Armed Forces Day celebrations in Whitby
Whitby Town Council is putting on activities
There is going to be some activities in Whitby taking place on Armed Forces Day.
Despite the national event being hosted in Scarborough, Whitby Town Council is still putting on its own 'day full of fun'.
It will take place from 10am to 4pm on Saturday (25th June) on Dock End. This yaer's chosen charity is Veterans in Action.
There will be a climbing wall, hook-a-duck, pick a flag, stalls and other attractions including live music and a flypast.
