Two men have been in court after allegedly trying the doors of parked vehicles in Scarborough.

Police were called by a member of the public one night in September last year when they heard someone in their garden trying to break the lock of their motorbike.

Two men were then seen trying to open the doors of cars on Trafalgar Road.

William Benjamin Johnson, 32, and Paul Woodford, 49, both from North Marine Road, were both charged with vehicle interference.

In court, Mr. Johnson pleaded not guilty while Mr. Woodford admitted the charge.

They will be back in court in June
