New traffic lights going in at Stoney Haggs junction in Seamer

Work to install the traffic lights begins today, with improvements to the road surface taking place next week.

The last part of a scheme to improve a notorious junction in Scarborough starts today.

North Yorkshire County Council are putting in new traffic lights at Stoney Haggs in Seamer.

The work will take place on weekdays.

Then from next week, work to the road surface will take place each night from 7pm to 3am.

The junction will be closed to traffic during these times, with a diversion in place.

Pasture Lane will stay shut throughout, till all works are complete.
