Three arrested after teenager hospitalised in Whitby
The incident happened yesterday afternoon.
Three teenage males have been arrested and released on bail after a student became unwell yesterday in Whitby.
They were taken to hospital just after midday by ambulance where they remains in a serious but stable condition.
Officers say they are investigating including the possibility of an unknown substance having been ingested.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said:
“Police are urging people to respect the privacy of the student and not to share any footage of the incident on social media.”
