It's been a busy weekend of football, with all three of our Yorkshire Coast teams having matches.

In the Northern Premier League, Scarborough Athletic were beaten 1-0 away at Witton Albion.

The first half was goalless, with Witton taking the lead early in the second half and Boro unable to respond.

Whitby Town were also in action in the Northern Premier League, they had a better result with a 2-0 victory at home against Grantham Town.

The win was sealed in the first half with Adam Gell and Bradley Fewster both netting goals in the first 30 minutes.

And in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League, Bridlington Town have also had a good weekend, with a 2-1 win over Barton Town.

Victory was secured thanks to two goals from Joe McFadyen, one in each half of the game.
