Teenager arrested on suspicion of school arson in Scarborough

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested this afternoon on suspicion of arson in connection with a fire in Scarborough.
The area in and around the disused Overdale School in Eastfield remains closed off to members of the public after it was set alight on Friday night.
A police scene guard is expected to remain in place until Monday while enquires continue into what police are calling a ’suspicious’ fire.
A teenager remains in police custody.
