Teenage boy punched in the face in Filey

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for information or witnesses to come forward

A 14-year-old boy has been punched in the face in Filey when he was playing with friends over the weekend.

It happened at around 6pm in Glen Gardens on Saturday 19th November when a man, who is described as white, with an average build, wearing a black tracksuit with a hood up over his head and carrying a black Nike backpack, approached the teenager and punched him in the face. The man then walked off in the direction of West Avenue.

The assault left the boy needing dental surgery.
