Snow causes road closures in Yorkshire Coast

A number of roads have become unpassable in the Yorkshire Coast area.

Police say the A171 from Scarborough to Whitby should be avoided.

While that is also the case for the A169 from Pickering to Whitby.

This comes off the back of the Met Office issuing a yellow weather warning which is in place from 3pm until midday tomorrow.

-Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces

-Probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths
