Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with daschcam footage relating to a single-vehicle collision in Scarborough.

The collision occurred on Lady Ediths Drive, Scarborough, at about 6.40pm yesterday (Thursday 29 April 2021).

It involved a black Volvo C30, which was being driven from the direction of Forge Valley towards Scalby Road, when it collided with a tree, near to Yorkshire Coast College.

The driver and only occupant was a 28-year-old man, who was airlifted to James Cook Hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries.
