Scarborough woman impales herself on aluminium piping

Firefighters in Scarborough have rescued a woman after she impaled herself on some aluminium piping.

It happened just off Gladstone Road in the town at around 6.40pm yesterday (Wednesday 28th October).

The Fire and Rescue Service says the woman had fallen whilst decorating.

The Scarborough crew helped paramedics to transfer her and the length of the pipe into the ambulance.
