Scarborough woman gets a broken nose from alleged assault

The woman had to get hospital treatment

Police in Scarborough are appealing for witnesses and information about an assault.

It happened on Sunday (10th September) at around 12.45am in The Waterhouse pub on St. Thomas Street.

The suspect is a white woman, possibly aged in her 30s, with long dark hair and she was wearing a white vest top, denim shorts, white Converse trainers and she has a distinctive tattoo on the back of her right leg.

The victim, a local woman aged in her 30s, suffered a broken nose which required hospital treatment.

Police say efforts to identify and locate the suspect are on-going.
