Scarborough man charged with manslaughter appears in court

A Scarborough man has appeared in court charged with manslaughter following an incident last year.
Peter Houghton, who was 59 and from Hull, died from serious injuries after an assault on Newborough in the town.
35-year-old Scott Antony Connell, who's from The Crescent in Scarborough, is yet to admit or deny the charge.
He is on conditional bail until his next court appearance next month where he will stand trial.
