The borough's average seven-day infection rate is now 503, per 100,000.

Scarborough's Coronavirus infection rate is now over 500.

The borough's average seven-day infection rate, per 100,000 people, is now 503.

That's according to figures for the week up to last Saturday.

It's higher than the figure for England - and slightly above the average for North Yorkshire.

It's the third highest in the county, behind Harrogate and Ryedale, the latter of was once the lowest.
